Utah State Stagger Slip

The play starts in a 1-4 high with 2 and 3 exchanging wing positions. 1 passes to 3 then moves to the opposite side of the floor. 5 and 4 move over to screen for 3 on the wing. 4 looks to slip the screen and if that isn’t open 5 sets a ball-screen for 3 on the wing.
- 2 and 3 cross the floor and cut to opposite wings.
1 dribbles toward the wing and passes to 3.
- 4 and 5 set up for a staggered ball screen for 3.
4 immediately slips the screen looking for the pass from 3.
1 and 2 switch spots on the opposite side.
- If 4 isn’t open, 3 dribbles off of the ball screen from 5.
1 slides to the corner, 4 steps across the lane, and 5 rolls to the basket.
3 reads the defense and makes the appropriate pass.
