Player Analysis – James Daniel – Howard Bison
James Daniel, a junior for the Howard Bison, led the country in scoring with 27.1 ppg. His sophomore season, Daniel averaged 16.1 ppg, so the work he put in last summer helped him improve his average by 11 points. As you’ll see in the video, Daniel is very good at attacking from the top of the key and navigating off of ball-screens. Being a small player, he has mastered his mid-range pull up allowing to get shots off before reaching the post defenders. In the shot chart below, you will see that Daniel is very efficient from the corners, and overall a pretty balanced scorer from most areas of the floor.
