Sweet 16 – Inside the Oklahoma Sooners Offense

Sweet 16 – Inside the Oklahoma Sooners Offense by Wes Kosel

Oklahoma had strong showing against Cal State Bakersfield and VCU. The Rams of Virginia Commonwealth had a good game plan as they held Buddy Hield to 7 points in the first half, but couldn’t keep Hield from getting his average in the second half.

In this video of Oklahoma’s offense, you will see that Lon Kruger does a great job of calling plays for Buddy Hield. They like to run Buddy off of slice screens and single/double actions putting a lot of pressure on the defense to keep up with him away from the ball.
