UCLA Offense by Dana Beszczynski

Here are two set plays from UCLA and Steve Alford shared by Coach Dana B.

UCLA Opening Play

This play gets Hamilton into a high ball-screen option allowing him to drive or pass to shooters spotting up (Alford & Holiday).

UCLA Transition Motion

This play gets to a 2-man game with Bolden and Hamilton on the right wing. The initial flare can open up Hamilton for a shot. If that isn’t open, Bolden can set the ball-screen. In the 3rd frame, Bolden slips the ball-screen to the rim. If Hamilton uses it, he can drive into the lane looking to score or kick out to shooters.
