Billy Kennedy Texas A&M Aggies Box Set Play – Box Basic
In this play, the guards start at the block while the post players start at the elbows. 1 passes to 5 as 2 screens up for 4. 5 looks inside to 4 on the cut, but if he isn’t open 5 passes out to 1 on the left wing. 5 then screens down for 2. 2 looks for a shot on the cut, but if nothing is there he dribbles off of the ball-screen from 5. 2 drives as 5 rolls and 4 replaces 5. If nothing is open on the pick-and-roll, 2 looks to pass to 4 who looks for the hi/lo pass to 5 inside.
