Before taking over at Chattanooga, Wade served as an assistant for Shaka Smart at Virginia Commonwealth University. During his four seasons at VCU, the Rams compiled a 111-37 record and made three straight NCAA Tournament appearances including the historic Final Four run in 2011. This spring, Wade was announced as Shaka Smart’s replacement when Smart left VCU to take over for the Texas Longhorns.

The second option is to pass to 5 at the post or short corner. 5’s defender has to make a choice when 5 screens for 2. If 5’s defender helps on the cut from 2, 5 will be wide open in the short corner for a quick shot.
